Summer months are historically the most difficult for blood centers with students on a break from school and donors away vacationing. But of course, the need for blood never stops. It takes all blood types to save lives and Community Blood Services is encouraging new people as well as our regular donors to come out and donate. Pope Francis has granted a plenary indulgence opportunity for the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions throughout the centennial year, from the 27th of November 2016 till the 26th of November 2017. There are three ways to obtain the indulgence, detailed in a statement from the Fatima Shrine in Portugal (click title for full information). To obtain the plenary indulgence, the faithful must also fulfill the ordinary conditions: go to Confession and Communion, be interiorly detached from sin, and pray for the intentions of the Holy Father.

Early registration for Religious Education classes has begun. Please register on-line if you can. You can also register at the Parish office after Sunday Mass an during Thursday class. The price will go up after June so don't delay and register now. Registration is for both youth but also adults that are missing any sacraments.
